What Are Common Air Conditioning Problems?

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is here with some of the most usual air conditioning problems in Orlando.

  • No Cool Air

If you can hear your air conditioning system working but there isn’t cool air being produced, you might need to have your refrigerant levels analyzed. Refrigerant is what helps make sure the air being produced by your air conditioner is actually cool. Call Service Experts and we’ll come out and examine your refrigerant levels and look into why your air conditioner is not blowing cool air.

  • Fan Won’t Rotate

One reason your condenser fan may not be rotating could be that it merely burned out and you have to replace it. Humidity can cause more condensation so another matter to watch for is that the water is not draining properly or that the drain is restricted. If you can check these things, you may be able to discover the issue; if not, give Service Experts a call and we can find out what has stopped your condenser fan from rotating and review your options to get your system working again.

  • Not Cooling Properly

First, try lowering the temperature on your thermostat. It seems simple but sometimes we neglect the obvious. If that doesn’t get your A/C cooling, check the air filter. If the air filter is blocked, it could cause significant cooling issues. Another thing that could cause your lack of cooling is that your AC equipment is not sized properly, and unfortunately this is a typical issue when homes are constructed. Service Experts will come out and do an analysis to determine if the size of your system is causing your issues.

  • System is Short Cycling

If your system is short cycling, or turning on or off continuously, it could mean one of multiple things. One is that your condenser or evaporator is dirty and requires cleaning. Once the system is cleaned and all blockages removed, you may be back in business. Remember that humidity also plays a part so if your home cools to the desired temperature, but then the humidity causes your home to heat up quickly, it could result in on-again, off-again air conditioning because it’s having to work harder to keep your home comfortable.

No matter your trouble, whatever air conditioning trouble you run into, Service Experts is here for you 24/7/365 so we can get your family comfortable quickly.
